THE PROJECT - BECOME SANTA

In December, SOCAR launched the "Become Santa" project, aimed at fulfilling the New Year’s wishes of children from orphanages.

A wish board was placed on the first floor of the headquarters, initially featuring the New Year’s wishes of 100 children. However, thanks to the responsiveness, engagement, and readiness of SOCAR employees, the wishes of 50 elderly residents from a senior care home were also added.

This year, the New Year’s wishes of 100 children from orphanages in Tskaltubo, Ninotsminda, Norio, Tbilisi, Ivertubani, Batumi, and Ozurgeti, as well as 50 grandmothers and grandfathers from the Batumi senior care home, were fulfilled.

As a token of appreciation for their participation in the project, the Santas received symbolic gifts, including a pin for "The Best Santa" and New Year’s stickers inspired by the project’s concept.

Furthermore, SOCAR ensured the purchase of sweets for the beneficiaries and allocated 400 liters of fuel for the distribution of gifts.
