2024

Technological Advancements in SOCAR's Laboratory

A new, advanced device has been implemented in our laboratory, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of fuel analysis.

2023

Upgraded infrastructure

Following our new concept, we have opened the first black-colored fuel station

2022

We opened the first Self-Service station

Currently, you can use self-service stations at over 10 locations

2020

We donated 200,000 Georgian Lari to the StopCov foundation

Additionally, supported vulnerable families with the aid packages worth a total of 300,000 Georgian Lari

2019

We planted 4,700 trees on the damaged territory in Borjomi, Georgia

In response to the wildfire, we have demonstrated our commitment to ecology

We opened second multifunctional complex in Terjola

Complex includes SOCAR, Way Mart cafe-market, and other catering facilities

2017

As a part of our green initiatives we started installing solar panels

SOCAR was the first company in Georgia to install solar panels at fuel stations

2013

SOCAR opened a gas station in Batumi

Station also includes a McDonald's restaurant. This building is renowned for its unique design and has received several global awards for its architecture

2012

New office was opened

The design concept for the new SOCAR office in Tbilisi was based on an ancient fortress structure in Baku – Maiden Tower

2011

We opened an unprecedented multifunctional complex on the western highway

Located in Urbnisi, Georgia. It includes children's entertainment areas, Way Mart cafe-market, and other convenience stores and catering facilities

2010

The company grew to 1,000 employees

Today, there are more than 2,000 people in the SOCAR Georgia Petroleum team

2009

Way Mart’s first convenience store was opened

Nowadays, you can find Way Mart at over 70 petrol stations

2008

The opening of the first SOCAR fuel station in Georgia

At the same time, it is the first SOCAR station outside Azerbaijan
