DAY OF MOURNING

During the Patriotic War, about 3 000 soldiers of the armed forces were killed, more than a hundred were missing, and more than a thousand were injured.
As a sign of deep respect for the soldiers and officers who heroically fought in the Patriotic War, under the Azerbaijani flag, it was decided to celebrate Memorial Day on September 27 of every year by presidential decree.
We remember that today is also the day of the tragic fall of Sukhumi, we honor the memory of Georgian soldiers and officers who died in the battle for Abkhazia.
Today, at the SOCAR office, the employees remembered the heroes who died in the war with a moment of silence.
