VISIT OF SOCAR’S STUDENT COMPETITION FINALISTS TO SOCAR GEORGIA PETROLEUM

On May 29, the finalists of SOCAR’s student competition visited the company’s head office and oil terminal.

The visit took place before the start of their internship and aimed to introduce the students to the company’s operations, structure, and key areas of activity. At the head office, the group of students was given a presentation about SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, through which they received information about the company’s activities, departments, and the opportunities available to them during the internship period.

Following the meeting, the finalists visited the oil terminal, where they became familiar with the key processes of fuel receiving, storage, and distribution. As part of the visit, they also toured SOCAR’s laboratory, where fuel quality is constantly monitored and tested according to various physicochemical parameters.

The visit gave the students an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum’s work processes, quality control system, and the standards through which SOCAR ensures the delivery of reliable and high-quality fuel to its customers.
