STUDENT INTERNSHIP AT SOCAR’S LABORATORY

In March 2026, the student internship program at the oil products testing laboratory of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum was successfully completed. The program hosted students majoring in Chemistry from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Within the framework of the internship, participants studied the theoretical foundations of petroleum products, became familiar with modern physicochemical research methods, and were directly involved in laboratory practice. Particular attention was given to gasoline and diesel quality control methods, relevant standards, and modern analytical approaches.

The objective of the program was to provide students with practical experience, support the development of their professional skills, and introduce them to modern laboratory processes within a real working environment.
